A New Ritual of Parametric Memory in AI Art In a digital realm tuned to tide and algorithm
Arturo del Razo Montiel (@artu_nreal), based in Italy, composes computational architectures that feel like participatory ceremonies rather than static objects. Whether suspending jellyfish above handwritten notes or letting maps bloom into sculpture, his practice explores remembrance and transformation. He balances precision with wonder, method with myth. Always. Each of his projects—“Letters to Medusae,” “Organic Cities – Between Data and Decay,” and “Abyssal Echoes”—is a living archive shaped by collective memory and oceanic calm. At a time when AI is treated as spectacle, Arturo uses it to script listening and care. Together.
“I build rituals for remembering—so code, sea, and handwriting can breathe, and stay, in the same room.”

Notes, Maps, and Medusae: Architectures of Remembering
In “Letters to Medusae,” translucent jellyfish drift above crowdsourced notes—mourning, hope, and gratitude—turning lobbies into tidal chapels. The installation reframes participation as architecture: each sentence a beam, each creature a lantern. The question surfaces softly: how does language float when grief learns to share its weight together? We learn to listen. “Organic Cities” shifts the tone from elegy to metabolism. Simulated maps sprout skins and erode like shorelines, time collapsing into sculpture. The work wonders how planning might learn from decay and tide, letting growth become story rather than grid. Maps remember. And in “Abyssal Echoes,” an oceanic temple hums with projection and low frequencies, inviting viewers to stand inside resonance. Here, presence feels like being held by weather. Architecture becomes listening; ritual becomes interface; whale-like consciousness flickers through shadow and salt. The room breathes back.

Arturo del Razo Montiel – Parametric Poetics and Memory
Arturo’s practice uses symbolism as structure. He doesn’t ornament; he designs participation. Every algorithm, material, and note is positioned to evoke empathy, reflection, and communal patience where shared meaning begins again. Together. With training in sustainable architecture and computation, his path into AI was less a leap than a synthesis. Technical rigor frames feeling; fabrication meets fiction. By weaving handwritten archives with simulated geology, he turns design into a mirror for identity—universal yet situated, systemic yet soft, open enough to breathe. The frame listens first carefully.contact us
